It’s easy to think the way your are doing it is the best way it can be done. Rarely true.

You are sacrificing money with Insta ads, but it would be good to know if it builds a faster audience build.

Will see how it goes. :)

Love the new format. Brilliant story. Can't wait to taste the omelette. Lmk how the ads go!

Great perspective! And when it comes to marketing as someone who has been on all sides of the fence business owner and as marketer. Know the industry averages. This will help create a base line for the conversions you should keep an eye out for. Ad messaging is an all time high which is why it’s so very expensive. And be consistent. Start niche and expand out. Good luck on your journey! Marketing isn’t a waste it’s an investment but I understand why so many few this way.

Thanks for the insights. Appreciated. Will try out and see what comes out of it. At least I have volume of content I know resonates with people, will be interesting to see how new eyes react to it. :)

I really like that idea of an ‘ignorance tax’.

I haven’t heard that term used before, but it really neatly explains that bland omelette you were making on autopilot.

A new year is a great time to revise your old habits and prove into what’s actually working and what isn’t.

Appreciate the share as always Janis!

Appreciate the support, Lewis! It's a modified version of what my friend Alex Luill called Impostery Syndrome tax. https://x.com/AlexLlullTW/status/1469625532195168259

Ooh I love that too — and I’ve definitely been a victim of this a few times.

Sometimes the prospect of missing out on work with a ‘dream client’ overrules my desire to make money.

I love it when something boring and mundane prompts you to investigate and find a lesson and grow.

Now I'm not for one second saying your omelettes are boring, especially now, but how many other people would just carry on with their life... Eating boring omelettes.

Thanks for this post, I know you've had your issues with art theft but would you mind if I used one of your images in a post I'm writing, I realised whilst reading that it fits perfectly. Of course I'll credit and link back. I won't be offended if not 😁👍
